(Women's) Self-Defense - Also for men
A Soft and Intelligent Way
Practicing with one another respectfully and consciously
Self-Defense Workshop
This workshop is grounded in techniques from Wing Chun, a style of Kung Fu founded by a woman. The whole approach is built around using intelligence over strength, body-weight over force, and timing over aggression.
Intelligence over strength
Wing Chun was created by a woman so it would not depend on size or muscle. The techniques use leverage, body-weight, and momentum so a smaller person can move a larger one without effort.
Soft, non-aggressive practice
We practice slowly and with control. There is no hard contact, no sparring, no need for prior sport or martial-arts experience. If you have never trained before, you are welcome here.
Like playing chess with our bodies
Each exchange is a small puzzle: read the angle, redirect the energy, find the line of least resistance. It is playful, smart, and surprisingly fun.
Who is it for?
Everyone. Women, men, anyone who wants to feel more grounded, more aware, and more capable in their own body. Beginners especially welcome.
